Managing Unplaced Auxiliary Functions at the Main Function

The Manage unplaced auxiliary functions at the main function property is available for main functions. If this property is activated at a main function, the assigned, unplaced auxiliary functions are managed together with the main function. This means that when the main function is copied and pasted, the unplaced auxiliary functions are also copied and pasted and automatically renamed - analog to the behavior at function templates. If the main function is deleted, then the associated unplaced auxiliary functions are also deleted. At auxiliary functions this property displays the value of the corresponding main function.
You can therefore save all functions of a device to a macro or a copy, for example, even if only the main function is placed in the schematic.

The property can be used both separately and in combination with the device protection.

Behavior on using / assigning

The behavior of the unplaced auxiliary functions when using existing functions or assigning functions depends on whether the Manage unplaced auxiliary functions at the main function property is activated at the source function and / or at the target function.
