In particular in the energy branch there are complex devices that - depending on the height of the voltage - can be composed from a large number of functions and devices.

In EPLAN such complex devices are managed as macros in which the internal circuiting between the inputs and outputs is depicted. In the process property placements are stored at the connection points (Placement property) in the macro. These are converted during the "Device tag list" report, where the macro is placed on a page, into placeholder texts. This makes simple jumping to the corresponding page / connection point possible.
