Dialog Measuring result

The results determined with the Measure function are displayed in this dialog.

Overview of the main dialog elements:

Result for length:

Shows the shortest distance between the two measured elements.

Result for dx / dy / dz:

Shows the distance between two measured elements of the measurement in the X, Y and Z directions.

1st element X / Y / Z:

Shows the distance for the first measured element of the measurement in the X, Y and Z directions.

This value is only displayed if points were selected for the measurement.

2nd element X / Y / Z:

Shows the distance for the second measured element of the measurement in the X, Y and Z directions.

This value is only displayed if points were selected for the measurement.

Options: Parallel to mounting surface:

The determined coordinates and distances are related to the zero point of the mounting surface on which the two measured elements are placed. Distances in the Z direction are ignored and set to 0. If the check box is deselected, the Z distances are also displayed.

If the two elements do not have a common mounting surface, this option is not available for selection. In this case, the coordinates and distances are output in relation to the zero point of the layout space.

When this option is deactivated, the determined values are output referenced to the origin of the global coordinate system.
