You opened a project and selected a schematic area with components on a schematic page. Edit > Non-function-specific properties.
Of some object types you can change non-function-specific properties. This editing option is designated as non-function-specific block editing. When opened, the dialog contains values for those properties that all object types have in common and that you can therefore change. Different values are shown by <<...>> in the entry field.
The following object types can be edited in a block independent of function:
- General devices (e.g., lamps, fuses, contactors)
- Terminal definitions
- Terminals
- Plug definitions
- Plugs
- Cables
- Black boxes
- PLC boxes.
Overview of the main dialog elements:
The full DT of the function / device (i.e., structure identifier of the current environment + displayed DT) is displayed in this field; click [...] to open the Full DT dialog and (e.g.) enter a new mounting location. This way you can, e.g., assign several functions to the same higher-level function or mounting location.
