Guide Rail with Alignment in the Outline Editor

The new logic element "Guide rail with alignment" is now available for the outlines of length-variable items in the outline editor for extrusions. At this guide rail you can specify the direction in which the items are to be placed on the rail.

To place such a logic element in the outline of the "Outline extrusion" type (*.fc2) select the new menu item Guide rail with alignment in the outline editor under the menu path Insert > Logic.

After the placing of the first insertion point the tip of an arrow is displayed at this point. You can rotate this around the insertion point at any angle. With a second click you position the arrow in the desired direction. The guide rail then has the alignment that the arrow indicates.

After completion of the action the insertion point and the alignment of the arrow can also be modified subsequently. To do so click the corresponding guide rail and modify the position of the insertion point or the position of the arrow.

Benefit:

With an individual alignment of several guide rails it is, for example, possible to place items from all sides on a rectangular rail or a profile that are positioned vertically on the placement surfaces of the rail.
