Displaying Properties of Single-line Bus Ports on PLC Boxes / Devices

To display properties of the single-line bus ports on the corresponding PLC box or device, the block properties were extended. For the editing of the format property belonging to a block property the Format dialog now also provides the new format element Network / bus cable connection point (single-line) of the device with the index values 1 to 5.

This format element allows the data of the first five single-line bus ports of the device to be accessed and these to be displayed at the PLC box / device in the case of PLC devices bus-compatible devices. The sequence of these bus ports corresponds to the sequence displayed in the PLC navigator. Free function templates are included in counting so that the sequence of the bus ports is not changed during the overlaying of the function templates.

Benefit:

By means of the new format element Network / bus cable connection point (single-line) of the device you can use the block properties to have, for example, the bus ID of the single-line bus ports displayed at each channel (PLC box) in the schematic.
