New Features in the "EPLAN Multi Language Translation" Extension Module

This version includes extensions also in the Translation utility, the "EPLAN Multi Language Translation" extension module.

Note:

The "EPLAN Multi Language Translation" extension module is available as an optional extra for the following programming variants:
EPLAN Electric P8 Select, EPLAN Preplanning P&ID.
For the following program variants, this extension module is part of the delivery scope by default:
EPLAN Electric P8 Professional, EPLAN Electric P8 Professional+, EPLAN Electric P8 Ultimate, EPLAN Fluid, EPLAN Fluid Professional, EPLAN Fluid Professional+, EPLAN Fluid Professional E, EPLAN Preplanning Professional, EPLAN Pro Panel Professional Stand-alone, EPLAN Pro Panel Professional+ Stand-alone.

Improved search in the dictionary

During translation, EPLAN accesses the keywords in the dictionary. When editing the dictionary and when selecting keywords, improved search possibilities are now available. To do this the Full-text filter field was added to the Edit words and Select words tabs. (Via the menu path Utilities > Translation > Edit dictionary you, for example, reach the Edit words tab.)

Benefit:

Via the full-text filter you can filter the keyword list and only have keywords displayed which contain a certain string. This way you can find the desired keywords more easily.

Enter the text to be found in this box, and click (Find). This way only entries that include the text searched for are displayed in the keyword list.

Note:

Do not use placeholder characters (such as "*", "?" or "_") for the full-text search as these will not be returned by the search. These restrictions are caused by the search mechanisms of the databases used. In addition no differentiation is made between upper- and lower-case letters and no AND / OR links are supported.
