Deleting User-defined Properties

You can delete user-defined properties that are no longer used in the project by compressing projects.

  1. Select the menu items Options > Configure properties.
  2. Select the property that you want to delete in the dialog Configure properties.
  3. Activate the Do not use anymore check box.
  4. Click [OK].

The property is no longer displayed in the project.
  5. Select the menu items Project > Organize > Compress.
  6. Click [...] next to the Settings field in the Compress project dialog.
  7. In the Settings: Compression dialog select a scheme that specifies the settings for compression or create a new scheme in the Scheme field.
  8. Open the Remove project data hierarchy level by clicking the plus sign before the entry and activate the User-defined properties not to be used anymore check box.
  9. To store the settings click (Save).
  10. Click [OK].

The project is compressed. In the process the user-defined properties that are marked as "not to be used anymore" are deleted.

Note:

When inserting and copying macros, the user-defined properties stored in the macro are also inserted. As a result, it may happen that properties are inserted into the project again that you previously marked as "Do not use anymore" and deleted. Such properties are automatically assigned the Do not use anymore setting, so that they are deleted again when the project is compressed again.
