Dialog Restore project

In this dialog, you define how and where a backed up project is to be restored.

Overview of the main dialog elements:

Backup directory:

Select the folder where the backed up projects are located. You open a selection dialog via [...] and specify the desired directory by selecting a backup file with the respective file type.

You can use the Insert path variable popup menu item to branch to the dialog Select path variable where you can select one of the available path variables.

[Show contents]:

If you have selected a project in the Projects list then you can use this button to display the Contents of the backup file.

Projects:

This list displays the projects in the selected directory. Select the projects you wish to restore.

Description:

This field displays the text description that was entered when the project was backed up.

Target directory:

Enter the target directory where the restored project is to be restored. Click [...] to open the Browse for Folder dialog and then navigate to the desired directory.

You can use the Insert path variable popup menu item to branch to the dialog Select path variable where you can select one of the available path variables.

Subdirectory:

This field is used to display the subdirectory beneath the default directory that contained the project at the time it was backed up. If no subdirectory was available, nothing is displayed.

Restore in subdirectory:

Activate this check box if the project is to be restored to the original subdirectory. If no subdirectory is stored in the data backup, this check box will be grayed out.
If you want to use the subdirectory but it does not exist, a prompt appears, asking if you want it to be created.

Project name:

If only one project is selected in the Projects list, then its name is displayed here. Enter a different name to avoid overwriting an existing project.
