The following information is transferred on import:
- The part number that uniquely identifies the item. The part number can be constructed from different fields in the Festo product catalog.
- The assignment of the item to a macro or symbol (if present). The festo.cfg configuration file is used to assign the correct macro in EPLAN.
- Sales data (e.g., manufacturer, packaging units, price, etc.) from the Festo product catalog. The import can be configured using the festo.cfg configuration file, i.e., you can (e.g.) decide whether you wish to transfer the prices, and whether the existing prices should be overwritten.
- Hyperlinks on the Festo website where current documentation and technical data of the part are stored.
