EPLAN Fluid: Cross-references to Valve Actuations

It is often necessary to represent the same device several times. The cross-reference then shows where each other part of the device is to be found in the schematic.

Electromagnetically actuated valves are often used in fluid power systems, and these are represented in the fluid schematic as a simplified solenoid symbol without connection point designations, for example using the symbol. If the intention is to document the fluid power and electrical engineering elements across disciplines within a single project, then EPLAN Fluid allows cross-references with solenoid symbols to be displayed in both the fluid and electrical schematics.

A cross-reference is only created and displayed under the following conditions:

Note:

The correct "Pair cross-reference" setting for the representation type and "Electrical engineering" setting for the trade are automatically adopted as soon as you insert an electromagnetically actuated valve into the fluid schematic from one of the fluid power symbol libraries delivered with the system.
