The Import 3D model function allows for importing 3D models into the workspace / workdesk environment from the following file formats:

- Go to Workspace / Workdesk > Import > 3D model.
A file selection dialog is opened.
- Browse to the desired location, select the desired file, and click [Open].
File selection is closed.
The import is carried out and the imported 3D model is placed automatically.
Note:
To achieve the best results when exporting 3D objects from EPLAN Harness proD it is recommended that the imported 3D object is in the BREP (boundary representation) format.
Note:
You can determine the transparency of the imported model or its elements by means of the slider in the properties panel.
