Importing 3D Models

The Import 3D model function allows for importing 3D models into 3D documents from the following file formats:

Go to Cablespace > Import > 3D model.

A file selection dialog is opened.
Browse to the desired location, select the desired file, and click [Open].
File selection is closed.
The import is carried out and the imported 3D model is placed automatically.

Note:

To achieve the best results when exporting 3D objects from EPLAN Cable proD, it is recommended that the imported 3D object is in the BREP (boundary representation) format.

Note:

You can determine the transparency of the imported model or its elements by means of the slider in the properties panel.

CAD Translator license is released when Library and Studio is closed.
