Operational sequence sheets are simple graphic representations that provide a structured overview of the process of a plant, a machine or a device. Below are some of the options EPLAN provides you with for editing operational sequence sheets:
- You can create functional diagrams, that is, simple path-time or path-step diagrams, according to the VDI 3260 guideline. In this case, you can create both simple text-based functional diagrams with placed property texts and symbol-based functional diagrams with inserted device symbols.
- You can create GRAFCET diagrams. These diagrams are representations of sequential controls for which the specification language GRAFCET (GRAphe Fonctionnel de Commande Etapes/Transitions) according to DIN EN 60848 has been used.
- In creating operational sequence sheets you will be assisted by prefabricated forms and symbols.
- For functions and macros to be placed in operational sequence sheets, the "Functional" representation type is available.
