Cause

A part placement on a mounting surface collides with a restricted drilling area or vice versa.

Possible collisions:

• The part placement overlaps with the restricted drilling area.
• The restricted drilling area overlaps with the part placement.
• The part placement was positioned on the restricted drilling area.
• The restricted drilling area was positioned on the part placement.

Solution

1. Locate the part placement or restricted drilling area in the layout space using the "Go to" functionalities from the popup menu in the Message management dialog.
2. Either move the part placement or the restricted drilling area on the mounting surface so that both objects do not collide with each other any more.
3. Then start a new check run.
