Depending on a user setting, the dialog Select value set is opened when window or symbol macros with placeholder objects are inserted, and you can select a value set. The value set selection can also be displayed to you in the new version when page macros with placeholder objects are inserted.
Benefit:
Since the value set selection can also be opened for page macros with placeholder objects, you can now perform the assignment of value sets directly. The subsequent check of page macros with placeholder objects is avoided.
To be able to specify this independently of the setting for window and symbol macros, the When inserting page macros setting is available to you in the new Settings: Macros dialog in the Open value set selection dialog for placeholder objects group box. The renamed setting for window and symbol macros can also be found in this group box. (The menu path for the settings dialog is Options > Settings > User > Graphical editing > Macros).
As part of this extension the following settings for macros were also moved from the Settings: General dialog to the new user-specific settings dialog:
- Use graphical macro selection
- Include nested macro boxes when inserting.
