Placing Segments Graphically Multiple Times

In the graphical pre-planning every segment could only be placed once on the pre-planning pages in the past. In the new version it is now possible to place a segment from the pre-planning navigator multiple times.

Benefit:

A segment can be displayed distributed on several pre-planning pages. During the placement you now also have the possibility to begin the graphical pre-planning with any node in the structure.

Only the first placement of a structure segment or planning object may be located within a box in the graphic. The further placements cannot be carried out within a different box. In such a case you receive a corresponding message from the program.

Icon in the tree view

In the tree view of the pre-planning navigator further placements of a segment are identified by the icon. This icon is also displayed if a subordinate segment is placed outside of superordinate boxes.

Changes when determining the structure

When drawing new segments as boxes, the structure - as in the past - is determined from the graphical arrangement of the segments. When placing existing segments out of the pre-planning navigator the structure is now retained in most cases.

When new segments are inserted, an outer box always becomes the top node within the structure of the pre-planning navigator. By nesting further boxes within this superior box, subordinate segments are created. When placing existing segments, the graphical pre-planning can now begin with any node in the structure.
