Selection of the Configuration Project During Importing of PLC Data in the AutomationML Format

If the configuration project entered in the import file is not found in the EPLAN project during the import of PLC data in AutomationML format, a new configuration project was created and the PLC data imported into it in the past. Now a selection dialog is displayed in this case, giving you the possibility to decide into which configuration project the PLC data is to be imported.

Benefit:

Even if the configuration project has been renamed during editing in an external PLC configuration program, you can import the PLC data back into the original configuration project.

The configuration project from the import file and the configuration projects available in the project are displayed in the Configuration project drop-down list of the Select configuration project dialog. Select the configuration project into which the PLC data are to be imported.
If you retain the configuration project from the import file, a new configuration project is created in the EPLAN project and the PLC data are imported into it.

If the EPLAN project does not yet contain a configuration file, the dialog is not displayed and a configuration project with the name entered in the import file is created automatically.
