Copper Rail: Changing the Bending Positions

Bending positions of a placed copper rail can be modified. This will also modify the length and angle of the elements of the copper item involved. In contrast to "Change length" or "Change angle", "Change bending positions" can be used to modify several components of the copper item simultaneously. But the starting and end points of the copper item always remain constant.

Preconditions:

  1. Edit > Graphic > Change bending positions
  2. To modify a bending position on a bent copper rail, move the cursor over the item.

Arrows appear on both sides at each intersection of two legs and at each segment of the copper item.
  3. Select the bending position or segment that you want to modify by clicking the green arrow.

Once you have selected a corner, that corner will be moved in the copper item toward the clicked leg.

If you selected a segment, that entire segment will be moved in the copper item in the direction of the arrow.
  4. Click the required corner for the move.

The copper item is newly defined in the selected form.
