P007023: Data of the main function or main terminal do not match the parts data: <x>

Cause

In the schematic project planning, a device was inserted as a main function or main terminal. As a result, the device thus created has adopted the parts data stored on the device, for example the value of the Technical characteristics property. Subsequently, this value, however, was modified manually in the Properties <...> dialog of the device, so that there is no match with the original parts data anymore.

The complete terminal function is checked for a distributed displayed main terminal. In the process data that was entered at the individual terminals of the same terminal function is summarized.

Solution

  1. Use the Go to (graphic) function to locate the device in the project.
  2. Open the Properties <...> dialog of the device.
  3. Bring to the front the Part tab and use the part selection to assign the main function of the device to the original parts data again.
  4. In the subsequently displayed dialog Conflict, select the Overwrite option for the property changed and marked in yellow.
  5. Confirm your entries.
  6. Then start a new check run.

Note:

In connection with this check, you can set the "Prevent errors" type of check if a manual modification of the original parts data on a device is not to be permitted. In this case, a message is displayed with the check run text, the page, the DT and the position of the device. The manual change is subsequently undone.
