You have opened a project and at least one symbol library. Utilities > Master data > Symbol library > Scale.
Use this dialog to specify which symbol library is to be copied and then scaled, as well as the properties of the libraries to be generated.
Overview of the main dialog elements:
This field displays the EPLAN symbol library to be scaled.
You can use the Insert path variable popup menu item to branch to the dialog Select path variable where you can select one of the available path variables.
This field displays the grid dimension of the symbol library given in the top field. The entry cannot be modified.
Enter in this field the name of the symbol library to be generated. Click [...] to open the Open dialog and select an existing symbol library.
You can use the Insert path variable popup menu item to branch to the dialog Select path variable where you can select one of the available path variables.
Here, enter the grid dimension (in mm) for the new symbol library to be generated.
Free texts and property placements:
In this group box, specify the scaling options for free texts and property placements:
- Do not scale (1:1): If this option has been selected, free texts and property placements are not scaled, but remain the same as the source. In such a case, all other fields of the group box are grayed out.
- Scale: Select this option if the free texts and property placements in the target symbol library are to be scaled. Then specify in the Factor field the factor by which texts and property placements are to be scaled. Only integers greater than 0 may be entered here.
- Round to standard units: Activate this check box if the scaled texts and property placements in the target symbol library are to be rounded to standard units, and using the options below that, specify whether the rounding is to be in the unit mm or Inch.
Popup menu:
The popup menu provides - depending on the field type (e.g. date, integer, multilingual) - the following menu items that are, depending on the situation, available for influencing the table or editing the values in the fields. You can find an overview of these popup menu items in the section Popup menu items.
