Internal users
An internal user is a member of your company organization or organization.
You can allow this user specific access to a project, master data or file.

An external user is not a member of your company organization or organization and should also not become a member.
However, you can allow this external user specific access to a project or files.

Requirements for an external user
The external user must have an EPLAN ID and be in an organization in order to access the shared projects or files. It does not matter whether it is an organization or a company organization and whether the person is a member of this organization or has created it themself.
