Delete projects
Strictly speaking, when you work with projects in eVIEW you are only working with a project view. The project, in the form of the backup file (*.zw1), is available in eMANAGE. The backup file only can be managed and edited in eMANAGE, see eMANAGE. Changes such as redlinings or greenlinings, for example, are only possible in the project view in eVIEW. They have no effect on the backup file in eMANAGE.
Therefore, if you delete a project in eVIEW, you delete only the project view. The project in the form of the backup file is still available in eMANAGE.
Delete project
- Click the Delete project button.
The project including all project versions will be deleted. All redlinings and greenlinings will be lost.
The project is deleted from eVIEW, but the backup file (without redlinings and greenlinings) is still available in eMANAGE. If you want to delete the project completely from the EPLAN Cloud, you must delete the project in eMANAGE.
Note
You cannot access eMANAGE via EPLAN Platform V2.8. Use either a browser or a higher version to work with eMANAGE.
Delete project version
If you have more than one version of the project in eVIEW, you can delete the current project version in addition to the entire project.
- Click the Delete project version button.
The current project version will be deleted. Older versions are preserved, including the redlinings and greenlinings contained in them.
The project version is deleted from eVIEW, but the backup file (without redlinings and greenlinings) is still available in eMANAGE. If you want to delete the project completely from the EPLAN Cloud, you must delete the project in eMANAGE.

Add project again
If you delete a project in eVIEW and add the same project again at a later time, an initial project version is created in eVIEW. At the same time, the backup file is uploaded to eMANAGE and the same-named project existing there is overwritten.
