Adding Bookmarks

The Bookmarks panel has been designed to speed up the placement of frequently used library objects. By adding bookmarks you can even place objects which are currently not accessible in the available libraries.

Note:

Bookmarks are user-specific and available in all her / his projects.

  1. Click the (Add parts) button in the Bookmarks panel (or select the Add parts popup menu item).

The Part navigator dialog is opened.
  2. Select the desired objects and click [OK].

The selected objects are added to the bookmark list.

Notes:

  • A bookmark can also be created when placing an object. In this case you can use the (Add bookmark) button in the part navigator to create a bookmark for the currently selected part.
  • It is also possible to add a bookmark for an already placed object with the Add to bookmarks command from the Edit or object-specific popup menu.

Double-click on a bookmark or use the (Place) button (or the Place command from the popup menu) to activate the corresponding library item for placing. Placement itself depends on the library item type.

Selected bookmarks can be easily deleted using the [Del] key or the (Delete) button in the Bookmarks panel or popup menu.
