Share projects or files externally

If a project or a file is newly shared with you as an external user, these are identified by a blue dot in the External area.

Upload improvement

If you leave the company organization or organization during an upload, a dialog is displayed informing you that the upload is canceled when you leave the page.

When you upload master data in the EPLAN Platform, you can now continue working in the EPLAN Platform during the upload.

Global notifications

The notifications now display further information about processes that you initiated in eMANAGE, for example, the progress of an upload. This way you can also follow the progress when switching to another cloud product.

Share projects and master data

Projects and master data that were shared by an eMANAGE paid user with an eMANAGE free user can now be downloaded and viewed by the eMANAGE free user.

The roles and permissions have to be taken into consideration.

Detail view

After you selected a folder or project in the grid view, the detail view opened automatically. This shifted the selected project or folder in the view. To avoid this shift, the detail view is now open by default. However, you can still close it.

Cancel project upload

You now have the option to cancel the upload of a project prematurely.

File path extended

When you view the advanced details of a project in eMANAGE, you will now see the project name in the menu path.

Share project

If a project is shared with you, the project invitation will now tell you which project it is and in which folder you can find the project.

Publish project

You can now see in which app the project was published and can filter according to it.

Project documents and project images

When you upload a project, the associated project documents and project images are now available in eMANAGE.

Master Data

You can now upload and download master data in eMANAGE and share it with other users.

Generate a project for an older EPLAN Platform version

In eMANAGE, you are now able to use a project that you created in EPLAN Platform 2022 to generate projects for the older EPLAN Platform versions 2.7, 2.8 and 2.9.

View and download files

You can now view and download files attached to a project in the preview.

Renaming the permissions

The permissions you can assign when sharing a project have been renamed. You can select between the following types of permission:

• Edit
• Edit (restricted)
• View

New roles "User" and "Guest"

In the user management of ePULSE, the roles "User" and "Guest" have been defined for eMANAGE and eVIEW in addition to the roles "Admin" and "Designer".

Share projects

A user with the eMANAGE role "Admin" can invite a new user to the organization by sharing a project. This user will now appear in the "Shared with" list and will automatically be assigned the "Designer" role.

Publishing projects in eVIEW

Fixed: If you shared a project with a colleague and they published the project before you in eVIEW, you were no longer able to publish the project in eVIEW and view the project.

• You can now publish and view your project in eVIEW.

Fixed: If the folder name was too long, it did not appear completely in the project overview.

• The full folder name is now displayed.

Share projects

We have removed the Share button. Now, just click on to share a project.

Logo change

The EPLAN logo in the header has been replaced by the eMANAGE logo. If you click on the eMANAGE logo, you will no longer be directed to the ePULSE dashboard, but to the eMANAGE project overview.

Role

The Admin role is now displayed above the user name in the header.

Notification

Access your notifications by clicking the icon in the eMANAGE header.

New URL

eMANAGE can now be accessed at the following URL: https://emanage.epulse.com/.

Open a folder

You can now open a folder by simply clicking on the folder name.

Extended details

In the extended details you can now see information about the EPLAN platform in which the project was created. This function is now also supported for projects of Version 2.7 and earlier.

Delete projects

If you use eMANAGE in the EPLAN platform and you delete a project in eMANAGE, the dialog is now improved.

eMANAGE Help

The eMANAGE help is now available in the navigation bar via the icon .

Create a folder or project

When you create a new folder or project, they are immediately selected.

Grid view

You can use the "Sort by" function in the grid view to sort folders and projects by different criteria.

Popup menu

At a project or folder you can right-click to call up the popup menu and as a result carry out additional actions.

Extended details

You can now open extended details by clicking Open details in the grid view at the project or open the popup menu in the list view and select Details. If the project is published in eVIEW, this information is also displayed in the extended details.

Filter functionality

The filter functionality has been improved and the current user is displayed as @Me.

List view

You can sort your projects and folders in the list view.

The ePULSE Management Center is part of eMANAGE.

Filter

eMANAGE has a filter in the grid and list view.

Share projects

You can share a project which was shared with you with another user.

If your period of use is limited for the project, the user invited by you can only access the project within this period.

You can also specify the period for the invited user. However, it has to lie within your period of use.

Fixed: If you had closed the Invite user to project dialog by using the Esc key, the dialog could not be opened again.

Folder structure

Folders are now displayed in the selection area in a tree view.

Naming projects and folders

If you have projects with the same name in your organization, you cannot move them to a shared folder. Folders with the same name can also not be moved to a shared folder.

Therefore you should give projects and folders unique names.

List view

You can only select the Download action in the list view at a project if an EPLAN Platform backup file is available for this project.

You do not have to observe upper and lower cases when renaming projects and folders.

With the Share function the administrator can now invite one new user in their organization and assign them a role for a project in eMANAGE. The user receives an invitation via e-mail both for ePULSE and the organization as well as an invitation for the eMANAGE app.

The full text is now displayed in the tooltip.

Delete folder

If you delete a folder, a dialog is shown that informs you about the number of projects in the folder and checks whether you really want to delete the folder.

Designer: If you want to share a project with a user, you can assign the role "Designer" to the user.
