P001022: Saddle jumpers are on top of each other

Cause

You have defined more than one saddle jumper for a terminal strip in the schematic composed of simple terminals. The selected terminal sequence means that the saddle jumper formation cannot be implemented because the saddle jumpers - from a wiring point of view - overlap each other.

Solution

Possibility 1

Highlight the terminal strip definition in the terminal strip navigator or in the schematic. Go to Project data > Terminal strips > Edit.

In the Edit terminal strip dialog, examine the graphical view of the connections in the Saddle jumpers column. Parallel connections are displayed.

Use the arrow buttons on the toolbar to change the order of the terminals. Make sure that the saddle jumper graphics are not arranged in parallel but rather after one another.

In the Edit terminal strip dialog, accept the changed terminals sequence by clicking [OK].

Possibility 2

Change the function definition of the connection definition point that is responsible for saddle jumper formation. Replace the saddle jumpers with wire jumpers.

To do this, open the Properties dialog for each of the respective connection definition points and bring the Symbol / function data tab to the foreground.

In the Function data (logic) group box, next to the Definition field, click [...] and select the "Wire jumper" entry in the tree view.

Accept the changes and close the Properties <...> dialog by clicking [OK].

Refresh the connections and then start a new check run.
