Cause

In the project you use a user-defined property <x> at objects (pages, macros, functions, etc.). Specific default values are defined in a selection list (of the 'self-extending' type) for this property in the settings. This list is displayed during the selection of a value '<y>' for the respective property and is extended automatically as soon as a value not contained in the list is added manually.

In the concrete case such a value was used. Since it is not part of the selection list specified in the settings, it is reported as invalid.

Solution

Possibility 1

1. Locate the object in the project by means of the Find menu item. Or use the Go to (graphic) functionality from the popup menu of the dialog Message management to find the object on a schematic page.
2. Call up the property dialog of the object.
3. Select a valid default value '<y>' for the user-defined property '<x>' from the selection list specified in the settings.
4. Click [OK].
5. Then start a new check run.

Possibility 2

1. Select the menu items Options > Configure properties.
2. In the dialog Configure properties - <Project name> add the manually added value '<y>' to the selection list of the user-defined property '<x>'.
3. Click [OK].
4. Then start a new check run.
