You can now create special overview pages in EPLAN Fluid for the simplified representation of complex fluid power functions. To do so, you can use the new "Function overview (fluid power)" page type.

In these function overviews for fluid power all cross-references to the functions in the Fluid schematic are shown. The pages of this type furthermore contain autoconnecting, connections and interruption points.

Settings for cross-references

The settings for the cross-reference display, in which the page type plays a role, have been extended by the new page type "Function overview (fluid power)":

• In the Settings: General dialog in the Page type / prefix table
• In the Settings: Display dialog in the Display device cross-references table.

The menu path for these settings is Options > Settings > Projects > "Project name" > Cross-references / contact image.

New representation type

In the course of this extension the new representation type "Function overview (fluid power)" is now available for functions, connections and macros.

• The new representation type is considered during global editing and when reporting functions. In the order of the representation types for functions the new representation type is positioned at the last position behind the "Functional" representation type.
• The connections on the function overviews have the new representation type "Function overview (fluid power)". Such connections are shown in the connection navigator but do not have counterparts on other page types. Therefore connections with this representation type are not taken into consideration for global editing.

The synchronizing of functions distributed in this manner has been extended correspondingly.

• The new menu path Function overview (fluid power) --> all representation types is now available below the menu path Utilities > Synchronize > Functions.
• The Correct main functions dialog, which you can open in the same menu path by using the menu item Correct main functions has been extended by the option Function overview (fluid power).

Icons in the tree views

In the page navigator tree view, pages with the new page type are identified by the icon.

In the device, in the connections and other project data navigators, the functions, macros and connections with the new representation type "Function overview (fluid power)" are identified by the icon.

Check run messages for function overviews

The new check runs 024017 and 024018 are available in the Message class 024 "Fluid power" to find the functions / connections on the project pages for the function overview for which no appropriate multi-line functions / connections are available in the fluid power schematic.
