A terminal can be characterized more precisely using the Terminal category property that is available in the property dialog of terminals in the Terminal tab. A terminal could be a feed-through terminal, isolating terminal, switching terminal, diode terminal, etc. For this version the Terminal category property has been extended. In the drop-down list of this property the "Thermocouple terminal" entry is now available.

In the Preview column of the Edit terminal strip dialog, this terminal category is also indicated by a special graphic . The property Terminal category (ID 20230) is available in terminal reports, where it can be used to output terminal graphics.
