Project Verification

Often, project participants, e.g. the client, will send the project status to another participant, e.g. the supplier. They edit the project and send an advanced project status back.

Using the project verification you can check the project status before loading it as to whether the project has met your requirements or whether it is of the standard required. For comparisons between a comparison project and an incoming project you can check the following criteria:

Is the project free of errors? A project is free of errors if none of the scheduled check runs generate messages.
Are the project-related settings unchanged?
Are the project data properties unchanged?
Are they compliant with the project planning specifications?

If the project status does not fulfill your requirements, a message report can be created that documents the differences from the project specifications.

Note:

If the comparison project was created in a different program version than that of the incoming project, the settings and changes related to new functionalities may not be reported.
