Description

TYPE

Type of task that the action is to perform:
CONNECTIONS: Connection generation
CABLES: Cable generation

PROJECTNAME

Project name with complete file path (optional).
If nothing is entered, the selected project will be used if the action is to be run over the user interface (e.g. via the script or ribbon). When executing from the Windows command line, PROJECTNAME must be specified or ProjectAction has to be used before that. Otherwise a system message will appear.

CREATIONSCHEME

Name of the scheme for cable generation (optional).
Default value: most recently used scheme.
Applies only for cable generation.

NUMBERINGSCHEME

Name of the scheme for cable numbering (optional).
Default value: last scheme.
Applies only for cable generation.

AUTOSELECTSCHEME

Name of the scheme for automatic cable selection (optional).
Default value: last scheme.
Applies only for cable generation.

REGENERATECONNS

Indicates whether connection should first be regenerated (optional, 0 = No, 1 = Yes).
Default value: 1
Applies only for cable generation.

KEEPOLDNAMES

Indicates whether existing cable names should be kept (optional, 0 = No, 1 = Yes).
Default value: 1
Applies only for cable generation.

STARTVALUE

Start value for DT counter (optional).
Default value: 1
Applies only for cable generation.

STEPVALUE

Increment; value by which the DT counter is increased (optional). Default value: 1
Applies only for cable generation.

ONLYAUTOCABLES

Indicates whether the cable selection is only made for automatically generated cables (optional, 0 = No, 1 = Yes).
Default value: 1
Applies only for cable generation.

REBUILDALLCONNECTIONS

If the value is 1, all connections will be regenerated, otherwise only an update takes place.

PAGENAME 

Name of the page to be updated (optional). This parameter has an effect only if the TYPE parameter has the following value: CONNECTIONS.

USEPAGEFILTER

Determines whether only filtered pages or all project pages will be used (optional). Corresponds to the activation of the filter in the user interface. This parameter has an effect only if the TYPE parameter has the following value: CONNECTIONS.
Default value: 0

PAGEFILTERNAME

Name of the page filter. Only connections on pages are updated that are filtered by the filter named PAGEFILTERNAME. This parameter has an effect only if the TYPE parameter has the following value: CONNECTIONS.

PAGENAMEn

Names of pages for which a connection update is to be run (optional). In this case, n is a number, e.g., /PAGENAME1:=EB3+ET1/2 /PAGENAME2:=EB3+ET1/4 /PAGENAME3:=EB3+ET1/7, etc. These parameters are only effective in connection with the following value of the TYPE parameter: CONNECTIONS.

SELn

Object ID of pages for which a connection update is to be run (optional). Here, n is a number, e.g., /SEL1:38/4/12/0. Alternative to PAGENAMEn. This parameter has an effect only if the TYPE parameter has the following value: CONNECTIONS.
