Cause
Two or more terminals connected with each other have different settings for the internal / external connection point property. This is the case, for example, if function connection point 1 of a terminal has been set as the internal connection point and this functional connection point is connected with function connection point 1 of a neighboring terminal that has the "external" connection point property.
Solution
- Locate the relevant terminals in the schematic by using the Go to (graphic) functionality from the popup menu in the Message management dialog.
- In each case open the Properties dialog of the terminals and bring the Symbol / function data tab to the foreground.
- Use the [Logic] button to go to the Connection point logic dialog.
- In each case check the setting for the internal / external connection point property on the terminals' function connection points that are connected with each other.
- Modify the internal / external connection point property for the terminals' function connection points connected with each other such that the setting accepts a common value of "internal" or "external".
- Complete the modifications by clicking [OK].
- Update the connections.
- If required, start a new check run.
