You have opened a macro project. You have opened a layout space. The layout space contains 3D objects. A handle has been defined on a 3D object. Mark the handle and select the Properties popup menu item.
Use this tab to define the defaults for placement with this handle. Here the mounting points and base points are defined that fit this handle.
Overview of the main dialog elements:
All the mounting points permitted:
All mounting points defined in the project are displayed and used in the placement.
If the check box is activated (default), all mounting points are listed in the Mounting points contained in the project field. Mounting points that occur in the project multiple times are displayed in the list only once.
If the check box is not activated, the arrow buttons between the fields arranged below are activated and can be used to move from one list to the other.
Mounting points contained in the project:
This field lists all mounting points defined in the project. Using the arrow button between the two fields, you can move individual or several mounting points to the list in the Assigned mounting points field.
This field lists all mounting points assigned to the handle. These mounting points are displayed and used with this handle during the placement. Using the arrow button between the two fields, you can move individual or several mounting points to the list in the Mounting points contained in the project field.
Using the (New) button, you can also generate entries in the Assigned mounting points fields. This way mounting points can be assigned that do not yet exist in the project. If the check box All the mounting points permitted is re-activated, all entries in the Assigned mounting points fields are moved back to the list in the Mounting points contained in the project field. Newly generated mounting points are deleted.
