P005080: Connection (topology) does not have a multi-line / single-line counterpiece

Cause

A routing connection exists in the routing path network of your topology configuration to which there is no multi-line counterpiece on a schematic page. Possibly one or more functions that are targets of this multi-line connection were moved or deleted in the schematic or they have not been placed in the schematic. In many cases no autoconnecting line can be formed between the multi-line targets that as a multi-line connection forms the counterpiece to the topology routing connection.

Solution

  1. Locate the topology function that is the first target of the routing connection in the routing path network, using the Go to (graphic) functionality from the popup menu in the Message management dialog.
  2. From there track the routing connection through the routing path network to the topology function that represents the second target of the connection.
  3. Starting from both topology functions locate the respective multi-line functions in the schematic using the menu item Go to (counterpiece) from the popup menu.
  4. If only one multi-line counterpiece can be determined or if both multi-line counterpieces of the topology functions are missing, insert the missing function into the schematic respectively.
  5. In the schematic, position both multi-line functions below or next to each other so that your connection points are connected to each other through an autoconnecting line. Or place the connection segments in the schematic so that a connection via autoconnecting line can be generated via these schematic objects.
  6. If required, start a new check run.
