File > Settings > Company > Management > Change tracking (numbering of the revision index).
In this dialog you define a numbering scheme for the revision index. When one or more pages are completed, a suggestion for the new revision index is made using this numbering scheme.
Overview of the main dialog elements:
Select the scheme that you wish to use or edit from the drop-down list. You can also use the adjacent toolbar for this purpose.
This list displays the elements that could be integral parts of the numbering format:
- Separator
- Counter.
This list shows which format elements you have used for building the numbering format. Use the toolbar above the list to change the format element formatting retroactively, delete format elements, and change their order.
The preview of a numbering format is displayed here. The individual format elements are displayed in the revision index in the same sequence as they appear in the list. This field cannot be modified.
Display warning if revision index does not conform to the scheme:
If this check box is selected, when pages are completed a warning is shown if the entered value does not conform to the suggested revision index. Confirm this warning with [OK], and the entered value is applied, which interrupts the numbering of the indexes. The numbering of the revision index will start from the beginning, with the next completion.
If the check box is deselected, then the entered revision index is not checked.
