Dialog Identifier sets

In this dialog, you can define your own sets of identifiers.

Trade:

The trade of the function definition is shown here.

Category:

The category of the function definition is shown here.

Group:

The group of the function definition is shown here.

Function definition:

The function definition is shown here.

Tip:

Double-click the Trade, Category, Group or Function definition column header to sort that column alphabetically in ascending or descending order.

IEC / IEC 61346 / IEC 81346 / NFPA / GB/T 5094 / IEC 81346-2:2019:

An identifier set is included in the delivery for each of these standards and displayed in these columns. The IEC identifier set cannot be changed.

<User-defined identifier set>:

If you have created your own identifier set, a new column with a matching header will be displayed. Enter the identifiers for the individual functions into the various cells. Multiple identifiers can be separated by semicolons. When you insert an item, the first identifier you entered will be used by default.

Popup menu:

The popup menu provides - depending on the field type (e.g. date, integer, multilingual) - the following menu items that are, depending on the situation, available for influencing the table or editing the values in the fields. You can find an overview of these popup menu items in the section Popup menu items.

In addition, the following dialog-specific popup menu items are available:

Command

Meaning

New

Allows you to create your own identifier set in the dialog New identifier set. After you have specified a name for the new identifier set, a new column is displayed here in the dialog and you can specify an identifier for each function definition.

Rename

Allows the designation of an identifier to be renamed in the dialog Rename identifier set. The IEC identifier set cannot be renamed.

Import

Imports identifier sets from an XML file.

Export

Exports the selected identifier sets to an XML file.
