This dialog displays all available translation texts for the selected translation languages.
Overview of the main dialog elements:
Multilingual input / Translate:
The left-hand column contains the language codes for the selected translation languages. In the right column are the translation texts that EPLAN found for the keyword in the dictionary. If you want to use other translation texts once, you can manually enter them. These texts are only used once and not saved.
Tip:
You can also start editing directly, i.e., switch to processing mode, by double-clicking the text to be edited or pressing [F2].
When EPLAN does not find the keyword in the dictionary, you can enter the translation text for the keyword here. The [Dictionary] button is used to permanently add the keyword to the dictionary.
Opens the dictionary and enters a new keyword with manually entered translation text into the dictionary. You can decide whether to save the entry when you close the dictionary. If the keyword already exists in the dictionary, then the manually entered translation text is not saved. The translation texts can be directly edited in the dictionary.
The button is only available when the language of the entered keyword exists in the dictionary.
The dictionary only contains the languages en_US, de_DE and ru_RU.
In the project settings (command path: File > Settings > Projects > "Project name" > Translation > General), you have selected fr_FR as the translation and source language. If you now insert a text, the button is not available because the keyword language (fr_FR) is not present in the dictionary.
