With this version the dialog Edit terminal strip has been revised and improved. The popup menu item New terminals (devices) known from the strip terminal navigator is now also available here. Alignable accessories and multi-level terminals can now be disconnected separately. This ensures that multi-level terminals are retained when the accessories are disconnected. In addition you now have the possibility to check the current terminal strip directly without leaving the dialog.
Inserting new terminals as devices
In the past it was only possible in the terminal strip navigator to generate new terminals as devices via the popup menu item New terminals (devices). Now this popup menu item is also available in the Edit terminal strip dialog.
The popup menu item New terminals (devices) is used to open the dialog Generate terminals (devices). Here you can generate terminals according to a specific numbering pattern. In contrast to the call-up from the terminal strip navigator, the DT cannot be changed; new terminal devices are only inserted into the current terminal strip. The generated terminal devices are inserted below the entire marked terminal. Multi-level terminals as well as terminals and accessories are not disconnected in the process. If nothing is marked, the new terminal devices are inserted at the end.
If you use the command New terminals (devices) to generate terminals, the changed data are saved immediately in the dialog Edit terminal strip. Before the action is executed, a corresponding message is displayed with the possibility of canceling the process. This behavior also applies to the generation of terminals with the command New functions.
Disconnecting accessories and multi-level terminals
Previously if you had marked several multi-level terminals and wanted to disconnect the alignable accessories, the multi-level terminals were also disconnected in the process. The multi-level terminals then had to be combined again. Alignable accessories and multi-level terminals can now be disconnected separately.
Benefit:
Through the separate disconnection of alignable accessories and multi-level terminals, associated terminals are now retained when the accessories are disconnected. This eliminates the need to subsequently combine multi-level terminals. Through the new buttons in the toolbar, alignable accessories can now be added and edited faster and more comfortably.
In the course of this change the toolbar has been extended. The following new buttons and commands are available to you here:

With the new popup menu item Check terminal strip you now have the possibility to check the current terminal strip directly without leaving the dialog. The command opens the Check project dialog with a preset scheme for terminal check runs. If necessary, you can customize this scheme or create a new scheme. If you have changed data in the Edit terminal strip dialog, these have to be saved before the check runs are executed. This happens automatically when you confirm the corresponding message. After the check runs have been carried out, a message window with the number of generated check run messages is displayed.
Two new columns are available to display the results of the check runs in the dialog Edit terminal strip. You can use these columns in the Settings: Column configuration dialog when configuring the scheme.

In the columns Check run: Status and Check run: Message text the icon and the message text for the first message of the highest message category is displayed per terminal. If, for example, an error and two warnings were found, the icon and the message text for the error are displayed. Only messages relating to the terminals in the dialog are displayed. Other messages are only visible in the message management. If you have opened the message management, the results of the check runs are also displayed there immediately.
In addition the command Go to (graphic) known from other dialogs (for example the project data navigators) is now available in the popup menu. This command closes the dialog Edit terminal strip and jumps to the marked object in the graphical editor. You can, for example, quickly find and correct terminals for which messages were generated after checking the terminal strip.
