During the addressing of PLC connection points, an example address is now displayed in the dialog Address PLC connection points as an input aid in the input fields for the start value of the addressing. In the course of this modification the dialog Readdress PLC connection points has been renamed to Address PLC connection points.
Benefit:
The display of an example address makes it easier to enter the start values for addressing in the correct format.
If you have selected one of the check boxes Digital connection points or Analog connection points in the dialog Address PLC connection points, the associated input fields Inputs and Outputs are available for the start value of the addressing. In these fields you respectively specify the start value with which the addressing of the digital or analog PLC connection points begins. As an input aid an example address is now displayed in the fields instead of the abstract preview of the address format displayed above the fields. This example address is determined depending on the selected addressing scheme and is displayed including the associated identifier. The entry of the identifier is optional.
If you enter an invalid value, an error message is displayed which shows the correct format on the basis of the example address as an aid.
