EPLAN can automatically number devices when they are inserted into the schematic. The appropriate device tag is determined online and is immediately available on insertion. Online numbering offers you the following possibilities:
- New and copied devices can be online numbered when they are inserted into the schematic. The devices automatically receive a DT and the counter is incremented.
- Macro devices can be online numbered when they are inserted into the schematic.
- You can use predefined numbering formats or define your own numbering formats.
- The online numbering mode allows you to disable online numbering for all devices.
- The online numbering formats allow you to disable online numbering for selected device groups.
