Completed projects and reference projects (including temporary reference projects) are always write-protected. The associated pages or layout spaces are write-protected also when a defined working section is completed. However, it is possible to remove the write protection if necessary.
Preconditions:
- You have opened a write-protected project.
- Or you have opened a project that contains at least one write-protected defined working section. You have selected and activated the desired defined working section.
- Select the following commands: File > Revision control > Command group Project > Write protection > Remove write protection.
- Click [Yes] to confirm the safety prompt.
The write protection of the project / the selected defined working section id removed.
Note:
You can reactivate the write protection by completing the project / defined working section.
Tip:
In the dialog Configure protection you additionally have the possibility to temporarily deactivate the automatic change protection for correction purposes for selected pages or layout spaces.
