EPLAN offers the possibility of individually forming tabular contact images at contactors and motor overload switches in schematics on the basis of embedded forms.
To this purpose the embedded forms of the type "Distributed device list (*.f45)" is available in the settings for the representation of contact images at the components and in the schematic paths.
Form-based contact images offer the following advantages:
- The table structure can be formed user-specifically, for example by specifying the color of the table lines.
- Contact image tables can be adapted to the standard used during designing.
- Various different contact image tables can be used within a project.
- The cross-references displayed in the contact image behave like hyperlinks with which the respective counterpieces in the schematic can be jumped to.
- The forms can also be used for reporting purposes.
