Check run messages are output in the message management dialog with a message number and displayed with a specific icon.
Message numbers and classes
Each check run message is identified by a unique number. In addition, the message number provides information about the class, i.e. the area where the message occurred. The message number consists of a string of six characters: The first three digits identify the class, e.g. terminals, plugs, PLC, etc. The last three digits identify the message uniquely within a class.
For the message number "002004", the digit sequence "002" means that the message is assigned to the "Plug" class. The digit sequence "004" indicates the error. In this case a plug without pins was found.
Message categories
Check run messages are divided into three categories based on the seriousness of the underlying problem. A specific icon is assigned to every category. Icons and message categories have the following relationship:
Error
Warning
Note:
You can define the category yourself for check run messages. These settings are stored project-specifically in a scheme. This ensures that the categorization of messages is retained when the project is transferred.
Displayed language
The display of the messages depends on the language and depends on the respective dialog language set. A subsequent translation or the renewed generation of the messages is not necessary.
If, for example, the dialog language is changed from German to English and the previously edited project is opened, the existing messages are also displayed in English.
