In the past only an image - if available - of the part was displayed in the preview of the Overview tab. For the new version the Overview tab has now been extended by a preview with three tiles. The macros that are stored at a part are also displayed in this preview.
Benefit:
By means of the extended preview you can recognize in the Overview tab whether and which macros are stored at a part.
Without an opened project, only the image file of the part and the graphical macro (3D macro) are displayed in the preview. If a project is open, three tiles with images are displayed for a part with assigned macro (for example the image file, the multi-line schematic macro and the graphical macro).
If there are more than three images available for one or more selected parts, the images can be selected via a scroll bar.
The size of the images can be adjusted by changing the dialog size or by changing the dialog splitter, but only three tiles are always displayed.
If the mouse pointer is positioned on a tile with an image, a tooltip with further information about the image is displayed additionally. For example, the file name is displayed for the image file and the representation type, the variant and the file name of the macro for the macros.
