Summarizing Function Templates of Selected Assemblies or Modules

In the past the function templates could only be summarized for all assemblies and modules together. To this purpose the menu item Summarize function templates is available below the button [Extras]. In order to also allow summarizing for individual assemblies or modules, the command is now also available in the tree, list and combination view as a popup menu item.

This functionality is important in connection with prefabricated cables. The popup menu item summarizes the function templates of the subparts for the selected assemblies and/or modules and enters them into the Function templates tab of the assemblies or modules.

In the process the selected modules are supplemented with a function template for a black box at the uppermost position. For modules from the cable product subgroup "Prefabricated" a function template for a cable definition is now added instead (in as far as not yet available). The black box or the cable definition are respectively required as grouping elements and receive the part number of the module when the module is inserted.
