When numbering cables by means of the command Number cable DT you could previously only select the option Keep existing cable DTs. However, it was not possible to retain the identifiers and only renumber the counter. To this purpose you had to use the command Number DT, which, however, does not support cable-specific format settings.
In this version the option Keep identifier has been added to the dialog Number cables.
Benefit:
Through the addition of the option Keep identifier to the dialog Number cables it is now possible to keep the identifiers and to renumber only the counter during cable numbering. This is useful, for example, if you mark cables by function areas with corresponding identifiers, such as "WB", "WD", "WE", etc.
Activate the check box Keep identifier if you want to renumber existing cables and only want to reassign the counters. The identifier of the already numbered cables remains. Question marks at the beginning of the identifier are not retained.
If the check box is deactivated, the identifiers of the cables are overwritten with the identifier from the identifier set that is used during numbering.
In the course of this modification the command Number DT has been removed from the popup menu of the cable navigator.
