Click [...] next to the Settings field in the dialog Edit externally. Select the General tab in the subsequent dialog. From the File type drop-down list, select the "Excel file (*.xlsx, *.xlsm)" entry and click [Options].

- You have opened a project.File > Export > Command group Manufacturing data > Manufacturing data > Labeling. Click [...] next to the Settings field in the dialog Export manufacturing data / output labeling. In the dialog Settings: Manufacturing data export / labeling select the File tab. From the File type drop-down list, select the "Excel file (*.xlsx, *.xlsm)" entry and click [Options].

Tab Master data > Command group Parts > Management. In the Parts management dialog you have opened a parts database using [Extras] > Settings. Button [Extras] > Edit properties externally > Export data. Click [...] next to the Settings field in the dialog Edit externally. Select the General tab. From the File type drop-down list, select the "Excel file (*.xlsx, *.xlsm)" entry and click [Options].
In this dialog, you can specify the settings for external editing of pages, functions, connections or parts data / for labeling output in Excel.

Include column header in output:
Use this drop-down list to specify which format elements are to be included in the export as column headers. The following entries are available:
- No: No format elements are output.
- Only property name: Only the property name, for example "DT (full)" is output.
- Complete: The relation is placed in front of the property name, for example "Cables / DT (full)".
