Further information and the current version of this Microsoft component are available for download from the Microsoft website.

1 As of Version 2026 Eplan Fluid is part of Eplan Electric P8.
2 Eplan Electric P8 and Eplan Pro Panel are using .NET Desktop Runtime 8.0.25 and are available in the install dialog of version 2027 or higher.
3 Eplan Harness proD and Eplan Cable proD are using .NET Desktop Runtime 10.0.11 and are available in the install dialog of version 2027 or higher.
Note
All necessary information about API and the change to .NET Framework 4.8.1 can be found in the archive.
API add-ins compiled with the ASP.NET Core Runtime 8.0.25 or higher are only executable in the Eplan Platform Version 2027 and higher.

The computer platform is a PC with an Intel Core i5, i7, i9 or compatible processor.

Note
Please do not use Microsoft OneDrive (or similar systems) as storage systems for multi-user work with Eplan products. This can damage your Eplan projects.
The usage of a CPU with the instruction set AVX2 is required to run the Eplan Platform 2024 and higher.
- Hardware components such as the processor used are also checked for compatibility when Eplan starts. An error message could indicate hardware at this point in which processors with instruction sets unsuitable for Eplan are still installed. These are usually processors that are older than approx. 10 years.
- If Eplan is also to be executable on virtual computers, the two processor options "CompatibilityForOlderOperatingSystemsEnabled" and "CompatibilityForMigrationEnabled" have to be deactivated when Hyper-V is used.
WebView2 Runtime
WebView2 Runtime from Microsoft is required to run the Eplan Platform 2024 and higher.
- A check is carried out when Eplan is started. An error message could indicate the missing installation of WebView2 Runtime at this point.
As a rule WebView2 Runtime is already installed as part of the operating system.
