You can determine in your engineering tasks which information will be displayed in the Table view / Block view. This is done in the corresponding group box of the Settings dialog.

In both views you can navigate and, for example, place devices, import parts data, or add parts to the Shopping cart. In block view, this is done by means of the corresponding buttons, and in table view by means of the button which opens a pop-up menu with the respective options:

Adding all parts of a list to the shopping cart

If you want to add all parts of a list to the shopping cart by means of the button, you may receive a message concerning this action. Up to 1,000 parts can be added to the shopping cart at once.

Note:

The import of all parts of the Portal (or large numbers thereof) means an enormous maintenance effort for you. We recommend to select specific parts for the import and to edit them after an import in the parts database for further use. For this reason, the singular adding of parts to the shopping cart has been reduced to a certain number. The shopping cart should be used to systematically assemble a certain selection of different parts and to import these later all at once.
