The first step is to link EPLAN Pro Panel components that represent the mechanical structure of the enclosure to the Feeder mechatronic component.
- In T_Mechatronic_ModularSystem, open the Feeder component.
- Drag and drop each of the components into the component area of the editor once: WiringDiagram, LayoutSpace, AE1050_500, MountingPanel and Plane.
- Drag the KK3060 component into the component area twice and rename the resulting components KK3060Left and KK3060Right.
- Drag the KK3040 component into the component area three times and rename the resulting components KK3040Top, KK3040Middle and KK3040Bottom.
- Drag the TS35_7_5 component into the component area twice and rename the resulting components TS35_7_5Top and TS35_7_5Bottom.
- Drag the PowerSupply_PXC_2938581 and PXC_IL_PB_DP components into the component area once.
- Drag the PxC_IL_24_DI component into the component area five times.
- Drag the EndBracket_PXC_3022276 component into the component area four times.
- Drag the Terminal_PXC_3031212 component into the component area three times and rename the resulting components L1, N and PE.
The arrow above the component area may be used to move the installed components to the correct position.
Preliminary considerations regarding the discipline structure:
The hierarchy of the Pro Panel components is set by the discipline. To create a discipline-component structure that deviates from the mechatronic structure, the plug-socket principle is applied. This means that the superordinate discipline components receive one or more socket parameters and the subordinate discipline components receive a plug parameter. The socket and plug parameters are assigned values. Discipline components whose plug parameters have the same value as a socket parameter from a different discipline component are installed there.
If more than one discipline component has the same value for the plug parameter, the components are installed either in the order in which they are collected in the mechatronic structure, or in the order specified by the value of the Position sequence parameter. This tutorial shows how both techniques may be applied.
Preliminary considerations regarding the positioning of the discipline components:
The Mounting panel with zero points diagram shows both the null points and the handles for the parts that are positioned using a coordinate.
- The zero point (x=0, y=0, z=0) of the mounting plate is located in the lower left corner.
- The handles of the wire ducts and mounting rails are mainly located in the lower left corner. The coordinate specification for the position of these parts refers to the distance from the zero point on the mounting plate to the handle. A part is rotated around this handle (wire ductsKK3060Left and KK3060Right by 90 degrees).
- The electrical parts and terminal clamps are mounted on the mounting rails. The coordinate specification for the position of these parts no longer refers to the distance from the zero point on the mounting plate to the handle, but from the start of the center line on the mounting rail (line mate) to the handle.
